2017 Program Incentive Recruitment Grant

Our local medical community is committed to bringing the most qualified family medicine applicants to our Program in hopes that you will love our community enough to stay and practice in the local area after graduation from Residency.  We are eligible to receive multiple recruitment grants that can be awarded to qualified applicants.

Hotel Accommodations the Night Prior to Your Interview

Our Program will make a reservation and cover the cost of the hotel stay the night before your interview with our Program.

Travel Reimbursement for Applicants Who Qualify

The Wichita Family Medicine Residency Program has secured a recruitment funding grant and is pleased to offer travel reimbursement for qualified applicants who are identified as highly desirable and a good fit with our community.  Qualified applicants will receive travel reimbursement up to $250 for in state applicants and $400 for out of state applicants.  Qualified candidates are individuals who meet one of the following criteria:

1) Completed high school 2) obtained an undergraduate degree, and/or 3) completed medical school in one of the following states, as defined within the U.S. Census Bureau’s indicated regions:

  • Division 6, East South Central: Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee
  • Division 7, West South Central: Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas
  • Division 8, Mountain: Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Montana, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming

$10,000 Match Bonus for Residents Who Qualify

The Wichita Family Medicine Residency Program has secured a recruitment funding grant and is pleased to offer a $10,000 Match Bonus to qualified residents who match with the Program.  Qualified residents are individuals who meet one of the following criteria:

1) Completed high school, 2) obtained an undergraduate degree, and/or 3) completed medical school in one of the following states, as defined within the U.S. Census Bureau’s indicated regions:
