Wichita Falls Family Health Center

The Wichita Falls Family Health Center, a service of Community Healthcare Center, and the Wichita Falls Family Medicine Residency Program is staffed by board certified family physicians offering primary and preventive medical care, including Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Gynecology and more. The mission of the Family Health Center is to provide affordable, quality medical care for your entire family in a private and confidential setting. From pediatrics to geriatrics, we are committed to provide the highest quality care for patients of all ages.

The Family Health Center’s physicians and care teams also provide high quality, comprehensive reproductive healthcare in a private and confidential setting with their Family Planning Program. The Family Planning Program can help with pregnancy testing, options counseling, basic infertility services, reproductive life plan counseling, free to low-cost birth control methods, STI testing & treatment, and education. All medical exams are done by qualified physicians, and all services are confidential.

Too many hardworking people go without primary and preventive care because they believe it is unaffordable. It’s not. The Family Health Center welcomes Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP and most Insurance. Our clinic also offers a sliding fee scale to patients based on family size and income.

The physicians and care teams at the Wichita Falls Family Health Center would love to be your “provider of choice” for your entire family. Please call (940) 767-8334 to schedule an appointment.

Wichita Falls Family Medicine Residency Program

20152016-group

In the setting of a community hospital, the Wichita Falls Family Medicine Residency Program educates resident physicians to embrace the philosophy and the principles of family medicine. By teaching the proper utilization of health care resources in a variety of settings, the program prepares these physicians to improve the delivery of medical care. This training will prepare these physicians for certification by the American Board of Family Practice and will meet the requirements of the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education.

Program Director Welcome letter

If you have just moved to Wichita Falls, or are on your way here, welcome to our community. If you have been accepted as a family medicine resident by our program, then welcome to our family.

On the other hand, if you are reading this message from afar while considering your options for residency, then let me extend you a warm and sincere welcome to contact us to arrange for a visit to our great unopposed program and our friendly and warm community.

Our program has over thirty years of history full of successes and accomplishments, and of overcoming and withstanding challenges, big and small. We are rooted in the community, with excellence in care (both in-patient and out-patient), and with compassion for all.

Our modern clinic (Family Health Center) and our America Top 100 Hospital (United Regional Health Care Center) are ready with open arms to provide the best possible learning environment a hard-working and eager to learn resident would hope for. Our friendly staff, from the Program Director and faculty to the nursing, administrative and support staff, are all dedicated to serve our Residents and patients. Our biggest disappointment is when a resident is not taking full advantage of the opportunities to learn, and our biggest joy is the day they graduate with honor.

I also want to extend a warm welcome to any new patient in Wichita Falls or the surrounding area. If you are looking for a new doctor please give our Family Health Center a chance to show you and your family how much we care about you. Our Resident physicians practice the most up-to-date brand of family medicine.

Again, welcome to our community and our great family medicine residency.
